BIO-GEN is a natural, reabsorbible, deantigenized osteoconductive material of natural bony origin, which may be applied to both human and animal tissue, and which guarantees a high osteogenesis thanks to the absence of any calcination process during the treatment. This occurs by means of physical-chemical process at a maximum temperature of 130°C in a humid environment. The final tissue is available both in cortical and spongioso granular form as well as in blocks deriving from femoral and humeral sections The BIO–GEN® methodology is unique since it can accelerate the physiologic processes of bony remodelling.
INDICATIONS:
The BIO–GEN® tissues were created to solve re-building cases of well-delimited bone cavities. They offer no load resistance and require a residual cortical support or mechanical means to support the limb during the recovery of the surgical zone. Their main property consists in speeding up the physiologic response of endogenous bone repair.
